Bologna --- 7 years ago -

It is way too funny that you are accusing people of wrongfully posting pictures. I could of swore you stole great dane pictures off a website and used those as yours. Maybe you should take your own advice...just sayin

Bologna --- 7 years ago -

Thought you only had two animals. Does this make three. Cuz I know the chi you claim as your only chi is not blue...she's fawn.

DANNY --- 7 years ago -

I think this means 4 animals unless the rottweiler has been victim to the flipping as well

Lindsey --- 7 years ago -

MY CHI IS NOT FAWN SO AGAIN GET YOUR $HIT STRAIGHT AND LEAVE ME ALONE BC ALL YOUR DOING IS MAKING UP MORE LIES FOR THE ANIMAL WELFARE TO READ BC THEY HAVE CAME TO MY HOUSE AND CAME IN SO TRY AGAIN

Lindsey --- 7 years ago -

AND SHE IS NOT BLUE EITHER I HAVE 2 ANIMALS AS THE OFFICER HAS STATED

Bologna --- 7 years ago -

Well apparently you're color blind too. She's fawn. What happened to the rottie pup out of curiosity?

Lindsey --- 7 years ago -

OUT OF CURIOSITY OR BEING NOSY AND TRYING TO STIR UP MORE $HIT AND NO SHES NOT FAWN I HAVE HER COLOR FROM THE BREEDER AND SHES NOT FAWN SHES CONSIDERED CREAM COLORED AKC RECOGNIZES THIS COLOR

Bologna --- 7 years ago -

Yep like I said FAWN!!
We all know what you did to the rottie just wanted to hear your laborate excuse for not keeping it. LOL

Lindsey --- 7 years ago -

GET OVER YOURSELF BOLOGNA JUST BC YOU KNOW YOUR WRONG !! AND NO FAWN AND CREAM ARE 2 DIFFERENT COLORS GO LOOK IT UP YOU DUMB A$$

Bologna --- 7 years ago -

You say tomoto and I say tomato. SHE'S FAWN and a breeder can't predict what color a puppy ends up so now who's the dumb AZZ

DANNY --- 7 years ago -

No Dumb a$$ you go look it up your ugly little hydrocephalic dog she is fawn and if you bought the dog with papers and it say's cream that might have been then but she grew into a fawn they do that. also You never said what happened to the rottweiler was it the dog I saw for sale on craigslist hooker? yeah that's what everyone thought B!tch now get back on your corner and make your rent.

TexasChild~2 --- 7 years ago -

Yeah what did happen to the Rott? & that cat you have now was that the same one you were trying to sell??

emma --- 7 years ago -

Is this lady crazy?? Im the one that put everything together about these puppies to figure out that she is a lying, cheating, cold person. I contacted the man with that had the free puppies because Lindsey emailed me the same picture that was on the add for free great dane mix puppies. He then contacted Erica, the person that got used by Lindsey for her pictures. I was then asked by the man whose dog did have the puppies to help him post about her to make sure someone else does not get lied to about these puppies. I know that those puppies are out there somewhere. We think they were dumped off. THOSE PUPPIES ARE OUT THERE IN THIS HEAT. Grow up Lindsey.

GeorgiaGirl --- 7 years ago -

I was wondering the same thing about the rott& the cat?

DANNY --- 7 years ago -

well sh!t I think it is pretty funny how Lindsey wants to start on someone,I guess this would be a great time to bring the real flipper to the top.

MaryJane --- 7 years ago -

We all saw how that worked our for Laycock and her other personality...isn;t she up to like 5 or 6 now?? Lol

Bologna --- 7 years ago -

She like an amoeba and keeps splitting so who really knows HA

Beth --- 7 years ago -

SHE DUMPED THE PUPPIES!!!! OMG!!! I have two danes and they are my babies!! What a cold hearted soul!! Who gave her the puppies? Have they been notified?

Bologna --- 7 years ago -

Erica in this thread is the lady who gave her the puppies. Lindsey Taylor told her they would all have a great home on her farm when infact she lives in the gehetto of lawton.

Beth --- 7 years ago -

O POOR ERICA!!! That has just got to be the worst!! I would be livid!!

emma --- 7 years ago -

No Erica did not give her the puppies, a man in OKC gave her these puppies but Lindsey used pictures of Ericas great danes to say that they were the parents of the mix puppies.

Bologna --- 7 years ago -

Gottcha! My bad. LOL

tish --- 7 years ago -

Letter from a Shelter Manager

I think our society needs a huge "Wake-up" call. As a shelter manager, I am going to share a little insight with you all...a view from the inside if you will.

First off, all of you breeders/sellers should be made to work in the "back" of an animal shelter for just one day. Maybe if you saw the life drain from a few sad, lost, confused eyes, you would change your mind about breeding and selling to people you don't even know.

That puppy you just sold will most likely end up in my shelter when it's not a cute little puppy anymore. So how would you feel if you knew that there's about a 90% chance that dog will never walk out of the shelter it is going to be dumped at? Purebred or not! About 50% of all of the dogs that are "owner surrenders" or "strays", that come into my shelter are purebred dogs.

The most common excuses I hear are; "We are moving and we can't take our dog (or cat)." Really? Where are you moving too that doesn't allow pets? Or they say "The dog got bigger than we thought it would". How big did you think a German Shepherd would get? "We don't have time for her". Really? I work a 10-12 hour day and still have time for my 6 dogs! "She's tearing up our yard". How about making her a part of your family? They always tell me "We just don't want to have to stress about finding a place for her we know she'll get adopted, she's a good dog".

Odds are your pet won't get adopted & how stressful do you think being in a shelter is? Well, let me tell you, your pet has 72 hours to find a new family from the moment you drop it off. Sometimes a little longer if the shelter isn't full and your dog manages to stay completely healthy. If it sniffles, it dies. Your pet will be confined to a small run/kennel in a room with about 25 other barking or crying animals. It will have to relieve itself where it eats and sleeps. It will be depressed and it will cry constantly for the family that abandoned it. If your pet is lucky, I will have enough volunteers in that day to take him/her for a walk. If I don't, your pet won't get any attention besides having a bowl of food slid under the kennel door and the waste sprayed out of its pen with a high-powered hose. If your dog is big, black or any of the "Bully" breeds (pit bull, rottie, mastiff, etc) it was pretty much dead when you walked it through the front door.

Those dogs just don't get adopted. It doesn't matter how 'sweet' or 'well behaved' they are.

If your dog doesn't get adopted within its 72 hours and the shelter is full, it will be destroyed. If the shelter isn't full and your dog is good enough, and of a desirable enough breed it may get a stay of execution, but not for long . Most dogs get very kennel protective after about a week and are destroyed for showing aggression. Even the sweetest dogs will turn in this environment. If your pet makes it over all of those hurdles chances are it will get kennel cough or an upper respiratory infection and will be destroyed because shelters just don't have the funds to pay for even a $100 treatment.

Here's a little euthanasia 101 for those of you that have never witnessed a perfectly healthy, scared animal being "put-down".

First, your pet will be taken from its kennel on a leash. They always look like they think they are going for a walk happy, wagging their tails. Until they get to "The Room", every one of them freaks out and puts on the brakes when we get to the door. It must smell like death or they can feel the sad souls that are left in there, it's strange, but it happens with every one of them. Your dog or cat will be restrained, held down by 1 or 2 vet techs depending on the size and how freaked out they are. Then a euthanasia tech or a vet will start the process. They will find a vein in the front leg and inject a lethal dose of the "pink stuff". Hopefully your pet doesn't panic from being restrained and jerk. I've seen the needles tear out of a leg and been covered with the resulting blood and been deafened by the yelps and screams. They all don't just "go to sleep", sometimes they spasm for a while, gasp for air and defecate on themselves.

When it all ends, your pets corpse will be stacked like firewood in a large freezer in the back with all of the other animals that were killed waiting to be picked up like garbage. What happens next? Cremated? Taken to the dump? Rendered into pet food? You'll never know and it probably won't even cross your mind. It was just an animal and you can always buy another one, right?

I hope that those of you that have read this are bawling your eyes out and can't get the pictures out of your head I deal with everyday on the way home from work.

I hate my job, I hate that it exists & I hate that it will always be there unless you people make some changes and realize that the lives you are affecting go much farther than the pets you dump at a shelter.

Between 9 and 11 MILLION animals die every year in shelters and only you can stop it. I do my best to save every life I can but rescues are always full, and there are more animals coming in everyday than there are homes.

My point to all of this DON'T BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER PETS DIE!

Hate me if you want to. The truth hurts and reality is what it is. I just hope I maybe changed one persons mind about breeding their dog, taking their loving pet to a shelter, or buying a dog. I hope that someone will walk into my shelter and say "I saw this and it made me want to adopt". THAT WOULD MAKE IT WORTH IT

For those of you that care--- please repost this to at least one other craiglist in another city/state. Let's see if we can get this all around the US and have an impact

Wow, I am balling. Mostly because I have put 2 animals down in the last couple years and it broke my heart, but both were suffering. One of old age and would not eat or drink anymore, she was a 13 year old Shitzu. the other was a 19 month old shepperd that had a degenerative disease that was causing her to suffer. It was the hardest thing to make that decision, but it had to be made so that they did not suffer any longer. I am the type that does not take on more than I can handle, but it angers me even more that people are so careless and this is what happens. I wish more than anything I could come in and pick up a couple pets, but in all honesty, I can not. I have one and that is the max right now. When I am ready for another, it will most definitely be from a shelter. The dog I have now is one that was not wanted by its owners and I am oh so grateful she is here with me and they did not take her to a shelter!!!

Thank you for the job you do. It is one that not many can or will do, and I can imagine it is a hard one(I know the person who wrote this probably will not read it, but I ahd to say it anyway).

MaryJane --- 7 years ago -

That was...wow. I'm sad and I don't get sad. The images in my head now make me sad. I've heard about what happens in shelters but never like this and it's horrible, truly pains my heart (yes, even I have a heart)

:( :( :(
