I find it quite annoying and was wondering if they are military or what? I have lived here four years and never seen them just cirlce Lawton all night.Anyone know? 

we just moved back to lawton after being gone for 1 year and we noticed that as well. We also noticed that there are sirens going off ALL day long. Whether it be police sirens , ambulance sirens , fire dept, well you get the idea. Has Lawton gotten that bad in this last year? We had lived here for 15 years before we moved and it was never that bad. We still love being here but this is almost like living in a big city. ( we have lived in metro areas before so i am just comparing the sirens and helicopter thing) Thanks for listening. 

im pretty sure the copters is just night training. i agree, i hear sirens all day and i dont live in a bad area of town 

It is training the National Guard comes here to train before they deploy and now the Air Defense has moved to Ft Sill. 

It is training, and it is usually more than two. Several on some occasions. They are quieter now that they are the smaller ones. Gotta be able to train tho!!!
