I am clearing housing and my daughter just spilled her black nail polish on my carpet in her room. I need help how to get it out, so I won't have to pay for carpet replacement. Any suggestions. Please help!? Sill Underground still works even on the SillYardales sunday break. I am desperate. Any suggestions? 

I have read that windex or vinegar works wonders. And any smell from it can be removed with a bit of soapy water. 

OxiClean might help lift out imbedded stuff. Hope you get it out. 

Thanks for your input. I tried nailpolish remover, carpet cleaner, goobgone and it is getting lighter. Thank goodness. I almost had a coronary.
