Ok so I post stuff and it never fails and i know I am not alone but it is annoying. I post stuff and I get replies and eventually the same person has replied to several items and ALWAYS asks will you take this much, problem with this is either I truly feel the item or items are low enough , have already lowered it,etc. I mean really it is always like $2 or so, one was even as low as half of what I asked. Then when you tell them you will take this but are pretty firm with it they never reply again. It is definitely annoying!Stuff that costs $30-40 new and is still new and you ask $10 is really a good deal in my opinion! But then it is stuff that is even cheaper than that too! For real do people really get by being soo dang cheap? I like ot be cheap but there is a big difference in being frugal and ridiculous! I am about to just pack up and Craigslist it all! I get a lot of my stuff sold on there and within a few days if that! No stupid offers or offers at all for that matter! A lot fo people I used ot deal with regulary on here are long gone it seems and I knwo why because people are ridiculous and annoying here! Ugh No drama is intended by this thread it is just a rant that I am sure I am not alone on!

Hey amy i think your the same lady i normally buy from i will admit i always ask if people will take less but if they say no and i really want the item i will pay the price they are asking I was always raised that if u go to a yard sell u see if u can get it cheaper thats the whole reason we go to them but yeah if it bothers u i will only email on the things that i really really want and willing to pay your price ( but i know im not the only one because i honestly dont think ive ever had any one paid my price on my items ) Not going for drama just apologising for being frugaul But you really do always have things i really like so im not going anywhere lol hope things arent that bad laura 

the one thing about cheapcycle is that they email you all the post and it runs up ur email ive lost so many emails because of deleteing all ( guess i could take my time and go through them but sometimes dont have time and really not wanting to buy anything 

Laura- you can change your settings and get a daily digest of all the postings from that day(one email). It is a pain in the you know what if you belong to several groups and the same person posts to all them groups and you see htat same email several times. I only do daily digest now and it makes things alot better adn easier to look through as well. 

ohhh laura i defintely know you are not who I am referring to. I dont think I have sold to you yet? I know there is another Amy i get asked a lot or they think im her. i dont mind the emails because im on email quite often throughout the day. 

i too am all about being frugal but I also know a good price when I see it so I dont even ask to lower it. this one person does it every time yet she never buys! then when i did go lower with one person they changed their mind. go figure! 

That sucks, but what is worse is dumb sellers that e-mail you back in response not once, but twice about buying an item, then sells it to someone else for LESS than what I was going to pay her. I e-mailed a lady on here to buy multiple items from her, she e-mailed me back and told me she was unable for me to pick up that evening. I e-mailed her back and told her ok, just call me when you are available, so she replies telling me she'll call me in the morning after she drops her kids off at school. I never hear from her for 2 days, so like a moron I e-mail her back telling her I still want the item and some more items she was selling. Next thing she removed PPU from the item and dropped the price. Next thing she tells me she sold the one original item I wanted but that I could come and get the other stuff. SCREW that and screw her, she sells good stuff, has about $75 worth of stuff listed right now that I want to buy, but after the way she was on the very first item I will not give that woman a dime of my money. I am one of the few people that never asks to lower prices, so she will more than likely have to lower them to sell. Whatever! 

ok now tell me this who all has told somebody a price and agreed, meet for pick up and help put items in their car then be handed $ to find it was less than agreed? would anybody be willing to PM me with their email? Im curious if this person does it on 

regular basis. thats all im curious about not wanting drama but it happens more than needed. I was clear with her too!e 

smiley that has happened to me. this person was or claimd to be from out of town. after them dragging me on 2 wks later they calld and I said nevermind. no longer interested! 

THEN! they emailed me a month later after I said no longer interested and had the nerve to ask if I wanted the item still! I took that as they really needed the $ but I was like nope not dealing with that mess. not worth it! 

This lady lives on post. Sorry I can't help you with the other thing, I have only sold 3 items on SYS and it has been a while! I actually gave up selling on this site, way too much mess to deal with. 

i think the biggest problem i have is agreeing on a pric then meeting or having the person come by to pick up the item, then they say ' I only have $5 instead of $10, is that ok??' That annoys me to heck. Because we already agreed on a price before they came. They could have at least stopped and got change if they only had large bills or gotten more if they didnt have enough. 

I would tell them no. If you didn't agree on it before, I wouldn't settle lower when they got there because they probably did it on purpose. 

i do say no most times, but if its only a dollar or 2 its fine. But now i will say no because ive had so many people doing it, its silly! 

I've done the I have 20 not 15 so here's an extra 5! I can't haggle, there's a reason the price is the price.
