I want to do something special for my dad. Not sure what to do for an older guy. Any ideas ladies?? 

What is he into? I haven't talked to mine in 26 yrs, so I have no idea what an older guy would maybe like. If he likes golf, you could take him to the course. If he likes fishing, you could take him to do that too. Something he really likes then just you and he go and do it together to bond and he will have a nice time I am sure.

Sorry, I know my answer was kinda lame, it was all I could think of though. 

For my dad I usually do a coffee cup with the kids pictures on it:) He Loves them:) 

My Dad likes expensive colognes and Guayavera shirts. Just find out what he's into. 

It seems like when you get older you also have everything which makes holidays hard to come up with something. I don't get to see them much so an event is probably out. We've done motorcycle shirts in the past since that is what he is into, but it's time to move on from shirts.
For my mom it's easy..we just do family pictures. She loves it. 

How about a gift card? Or a good book? Poker Chips set? A bottle of Jack? A leather wallet? Just throwing some ideas. 

That gave me an awesome idea....do they have gift cards for the casino's?? He like to go to the casino's on Saturdays. 

Yeah they have gift cetificates, $25 minimum and he can use it anytime.
