Hi, we just moved to Lawton recently. We signed a lease before we knew that we would have to pay for gas and water. I have never had to pay for those befoe. Does anyone know how much I should expect to pay per month? 

When I lived in lawton my water bill on average for a family of 4 ran about 65.00 a month. That included using a washing machine. I had gas heat & hot water, in the winter it was about 100.00, in summer about 24.00. Hope that helps you.

winter (set at around 70 degrees)
gas-$80-100
electric-$25-60
summer (the same)
gas-$25
electric-$80-170
everything in my home is electric except the heater and hot water tank.

the second number is the max i can recall paying for those months that are just crazy hot or cold. so dont let that number scare you.. You can usually ask your rental company and they can give you the houses average. Some houses are older and loose cool or hot air faster than others. Oh we are just a family of three with #3 being a 2 year old. 

my gas ran me about 60 but that was for a hot water heater and fireplace. my water was about 60-75 

we are a fmaily of 4 two adults and 2 toddlers. Myw ater bill is always between 65 -75 dollars. My electric bil is ablways $150- $200 and my gas bill during the summer is about $45. in the winter my gas bill is about $150 to $200 and my electric bill is about $60.

We keep our air at about 73 degrees during teh summer and at 78 during the cold months. Hope this helps 

Thank you ladies, this helps, hopefully it will run on the lower side. Otherwise I might have to move on post as soon as this lease is up. I would have rather lived on post anyways but the wait list was too long!
