I work at a grocery store and had a couple come in with a few wic transactions.On one wic he had a whole grain option. He had baby cereal for the whole grain option. I have worked there for 2 years and never had I had someone try to do that.I told him I would have to go ask. He got mad and start yelling asking me why I had to be a heroand it didnt affect me and all I had to do was run it thru the reg..Well,I called wic today and they said the whole grain option is tortillas,brown rice,oatmeal,and bread.The have vouchers just for the baby cereal and baby food.I still cant believe how he was yelling at me and going on about something that was free.Anything on wic will run thru the reg.When it says 2% milk thats what your suppose to get..The store will not get paid unless u get what it says on the folder...
