Volunteers Needed for a Doctoral Dissertation Study Looking for spouses of current active-duty military service members who have fully recovered from postpartum depression.
This doctoral dissertation study consists of a project that includes a prescreening phone interview that will take approximately 20 minutes and an in-person (if you are in driving distance from Portland, OR) or skype interview(you can be located anywhere) that will take approximately two hours to complete. Your information may be helpful for future military spouses suffering from postpartum depression and the mental health/medical providers who provide care for them during their recovery process.
Eligibility requirements: - must be currently married to an active-duty Marine, Navy, Army, or Air Force service member - must not self-identify as currently having postpartum depression - must have had spouse deployed during some or all of the postpartum depression recovery period - must not be an active duty service member yourself If you meet the eligibility requirements, you will be reimbursed $20 for your time.
