I have a friend who is a Lia Sophia consultant. While I have never looked at, let alone ordered, the jewelry I have decided to have a party on May 22nd. I am unsure of the time right now, but thought maybe some of you ladies would be interested in attending! I figured I would get some wine, some girly drinks, and make some yummy appetizers and we can all sit around and do some girly talk. No ordering requires...just come out and have a good time! THen we can all meet up and get to know each other. I was thinking, if y'all wanted, you could even bring your husbands and they can chill outside with my hubby. We could do a BBQ afterwords. It would give us all a chance to mix and mingle. THoughts? 

I think it sounds like a great idea As long as the baby stays in that long. :D haha But no really it does sound great as well as the BBQ. My husband knows no one but would love to meet more ppl as well as me :D So yea let me know for sure. :D

oh that would be fun! i need to talk to my husband tho, thats his birthday, and i don't want to make plans for him...lol. and brooke, thank you soooo much for my birthday cake!!! it was beautiful! ladies, if you have facebook, look up sophisticated sweets and look at her pics. my cake is the pink one with polka dots! lol...i had never tasted fondant before...that stuff is crazy sweet!!! lol my cavities were killing me, but it was soooooo worth it! 

Mommyof2- I am glad you liked the cake!! I like a little bit of fondant, but normally I'll peel it off and eat the butter cream underneath. It makes the cake look pretty and smooth, but I agree it is a bit much sometimes! I hope the cake was what you were envisioning. Your husband and I had texted about it a few times and I had read your description. Just hope it was translated well!! 

Noooow- as for the parties, ladies, we are still on!! The Lia Sophia/Girl's Afternoon starts at 3pm. My friend will bring some of her samples, we will enjoy some finger foods, and drinks as well as some girl time! Feel free to bring your SO if you wish as we will be having a BBQ after wards. My husband, and some of my friend's husbands, will be there at 3p so they will be occupied until we are done. ok, my husband said we can go! all of his buddies are in california for training. i was gonna ask if it's going to be kid friendly tho, or if we should try to find a sitter for my son? i have to bring my daughter either way, since i'm still bf-ing her... 

Mommyof2- A couple of my friends will be bringing kids. I don't have kids myself so there isn't a lot of toys and stuff for kids, but normally they all tend to run crazy outside when they come over!! *lol* And yay!! I am glad you are coming!! We just want to have a nice get together, make new friends, etc. So excited!! I have been talking to Helen off SYS and am hoping she will come out to do makeovers and bring all of her catalogs and what not and I have messaged the woman looking for ladies for her hair profile. I think it would b a great opportunity for them both to market and mingle. I want to squee!
