Everyone who offered to foster the Great Danes, say I!! I KNOW I'm not the only one because I was sharing my confusion w/ my BFF & my nieghbor about the owners saying they 'have no choice but to sell' and turns out both of them also emailed & called & said they would foster them as well! I just don't get it. I mean yeah, it's thier dogs & yadda yadda yadda but don't say you have 'no choice'! You have 3 choices that I know of & I'm positive there are more! Sorry...just gets to me.. 

They also told me that they wanted me to do it and scheduled a time to come over and meet us then she no showed me and wouldn't return my call. She was really friendly and said she wanted me to do it then it's like she fell off the earth til I saw the post about her selling them. It's ok I'm not hurt by it i adopted a better dane anyway that I am totally pleased with, she listens better than the kids, lol :) 

I offered to foster them too, and never heard anything. I mean if you loved your dogs, why no reply?? I don't think they wanted anyone to foster, from the looks of it. 

Yeah, I don't get it. It just bugs me cuz they keep posting they are selling because 'everyone who said they would foster fell through'. There are a lot of people who were willing to do it. I mean if they wanna sell their dogs thats fine but don't try & make it look like you were 'forced to sell'....cuz they weren't. 

also the dogs are not papered and they paid no where near 500 for them. also one of them isnt kennel trained. 

So here is whats going on, this chic is in my husbands unit he deployed yesterday morning, well before he left I talked to the girl with the great danes and decided not to watch them, after I saw she was selling them and blamed everyone else for selling them I flipped because I know alot of people offered, so I sent her an email speaking my mind, I got a phone call from Her about 10 minutes ago saying that she has taken my email and this whole conversation on underground to jag, and she has a case of slander, and she highly recommends me erase this whole topic, HAHA well since I didn't start it im not able to erase it (BUT NOW SINCE SHE WANTS TO WAKE ME UP AND THREATEN ME WITH JAG THE DAY AFTER MY HUSBAND LEAVES AND CAUSE ME MORE GRIEF THEN IM ALREADY IN, I HAD TO GET A MESSAGE OUT LOUD AND CLEAR BECAUSE AFTER ALL THIS IS A SITE FOR THAT RIGHT?

Don't sweat it Shannon. Slander is a hard thing to prove. I see nothing stated here but facts and opinions and besides I see no name mentioned. She apparently is another lindsey taylor who thinks the way thru life is thru empty threats. She's got alot of learning coming. 

I am curious why in the hell would you get two dogs. Great Danes no less if you know there is a possiblity you can BOTH deploy at the same time? I understand wanting a dog and blah blah blah but seriously get a small dog they are easier to get homes for.

Ok thats my ramble on that this just seems like these two people are short on cash and they use the deployment an excuse to sell there dogs at a VERY HIGH PRICE.

Kiss my @ss on the slander thing! My mom tried to alert my 'Grandfather's' congregation that he was a convicted child molester & her lawyer said she could get in trouble for slander.....slander can kiss my @ss!! Plus like you said no names were mentioned & she's just mad she was called out! 

TC I really think someone called your mom's bluff. It's not slander if he is a convicted molester. That would be public information and not slander. Might be considered harrassment tho.

ok honestly I am beginning to understand why she did not want you to watch her dogs. Your freakin nuts. this is about pet sitting not your grandfather the molester. jeez why does someone always have to go off subject and turn it into something that no one needs to or wants to hear. honestly that is something between you and your family not the public.

Oh hush, like me talking about that somehow makes me unfit to dogsit!? Whatever. And if you look closely instead of just attacking me there were others who got off subject and started talking about that Lindsey girl who everyone seems to waste WAY to much time on. And if that was her reason for her not wanting me to watch the dogs, take a moment & try to come up w/ reasons for everyone else who offered! 

No the fact that you can ALWAYS find a reason to talk about it makes you unfit. I mean really texas if I were just some random person in walmart would you tell me you were molested? Stop being a victum and start living as a survivor. 

Sharon...........I sure hope you remembered to kiss your husband good bye yesterday before you started in on the great dane thing. Seems to me my mind would have been so far from anyone elses woes at my husbands deployment.

Bologna...........I reolize you should not pitty your husband being deployed for a full year but come on this thread started 5 days ago and shannon was sticking her nose in other peoples business at the same time he was getting on the bus. Well yes i guess your right get the hubby the hell out and get the dogs in. I have to do more things for my hubby than the dogs. All required for the dogs is feed, potty cage. works for her works for me. 

What life was suppose to stop while husbands deploy?? I am pretty sure she seen him off. Everyone needs something to cuddle with when the space next to them in bed is empty...so why not dogs?
