My dog might be allergic to something in my yard. I didnt notice it until I was doing laundry this morning and he was sleeping on his back in one of his beds. There are a string of little bumps between his belly and his upper thigh, in that little pit area thing. I have been observing him all morning and he has not been itching them and doesnt seem like he notices they are there. If it's not allergic reaction to anything, maybe they are heat bumbs? They are only in that one spot. I'll take him to the vet if need be but I'm just wondering if anyone has any insight on what it might be and if there is any home medicines I can use like egzema (spelled it wrong) or benadryl (spelled wrong too) or something I could use to save a little money. I know when I first got my puppy he had a small ear infection, these drops they gave me cost 30 something dollars. Insane. But if you want a furry friend, you must be able to afford everything that comes with them.

If it doesn't bother him, it's really not a big worry and no need for medicines. But you can put like neosporin or lotion on it to help heal it. You could rub hydrocortizone/benedryl on it, but make sure your dog doesn't lick that area. As far as liquid benedryl, I wouldn't cuz it's not a large area being treated. Just topicals would be sufficient. As far as what it is, I don't have a clue. Don't think it's heat bumps cuz those usually itch. So do most allergies.

They are gone now, I didnt put anything on them because I was worried of the outcome, Just now reading your post Brandy, I have not checked the sill underground since I posted this morning. But he is doing great, not sure what that was. lol. Thank you though!
