Yesterday when I was picking my daughter up from school at Pat Henry, there was a lady coming to pick her kids (or grandkids...she was older) up from school. The woman had a baby on her lap while driving...OUT of the seatbelt...NO restraints other than her left arm around her.

I mean...COME ON PEOPLE! Some people lack the common sense God gave us, and do stupid things like this that make me want to just go up and slap you. Geesh! It was a big friggin' car, and I know that there could have been plenty of room for a car seat. Heck, if you can afford a Cadillac, you can get a car seat to put the baby in! Not only is what that lady did against the law, but it's just plain stupid! What if she were in a wreck? That baby would have died in a heartbeat, and she would have had to live with that...in prison.

I wish people would use their brains. I forgot that some people like that are rampant in this town. Thankfully, not all of us who grew up in this state are idiots, but there are those few that give people in our state a bad reputation.

I swear, if I see that again next week, I'm calling the cops then and there to report the lady. She can hate me all she wants, but I don't care. You just can't fix stupid...

Maybe she thought she was Britney Spears lol

On a serious note though, yes that is so dangerous for so many reasons.

lol. Yeah, maybe. Next time I see something like that, though, I"m going to report it. Of course, if Lawton police are anything like they used to be, they won't do anything. We had someone steal some stuff from us about 8 years ago, and when we reported it right after it happened, the cops just wrote a report, and said they won't do anything else. Oops...our loss.

Call next time snd she will get s ticket. As far as burglaries, all they can do is write a report. It's mostly for your insurance anyways, snd if they find someone who has been stealing, they may be able to connect him to yours. But really, you expect them to go after someone if there's NO CLUE who it is?

I knew who it was...I chased the guy down, but he went down a narrow alley where I couldn't go down. He was on a bike, and I was in a minivan. I was a stubborn, and pi##ed off mother. The guy stole about $100 worth of formula, and we didn't have the money to buy more at the time, and I couldn't breast feed. We had good neighbors, and this guy wasn't from our neighborhood. Our neighbors spotted him, told us, and I took off after him. It wasn't even an adult...just some hoodlum teenager. That neighborhood still didn't get much better from my understanding.
