Madison's Mommy and Joe's Baby --- 15 years ago -

I posted an xbox on SyS. Ive added up everything that we have and took 30% off each item. I priced these items through game stop and game king. Im still getting told im asking way too much. Ive lowered it $150, but they still say its too much. I had some offers for around what I originally asked, but they wanted me to hold it for like two weeks, but I will be moving before then. Im losing hundreds on this, but I can not take it with me, so I have to sell it. Please some advice. I dont know anything about electronics so i honestly dont know what to ask.

If you based your prices off what stores buy them for, then it's low enough. Dealers never give what items are worth so they make the ultimate profit. You're probably not asking enough, but on bookoo people buy for really cheap so they too can resell for profit. Which is why I give to people who lose their homes to fires, tornados, etc.

I didnt think it was too bad either. I dont know how to post on craigslist or I would do that.

Just go to the category you want to post in and in the upper right corner click post and follow instructions.

okay confused....I also posted my car. I had it at 600 but lowered to 400 cause i really just need to get another car. my car RUNS!!!! I see a bunch of cars posted online that have NO Trans or maybe no motor, ones that are old and look terrible that DONT run, and they are selling. Yet Im being told that I overpriced mine at $400???? I dont get people.I had someone offer me $30. Thats rediculous a junk yard would give me more.

Dont listen to these jack a$$es(not hteones offering advice here theones who are offeing you 30 for a car). They jsut want what they want for it. Sell your stuff at what you think is fair. Like I said to someone else, it will sell when it is meant to.

i know this may sound kind of old school, but have you tried taking pics of it and putting up fliers like in convenience stores? or like in teh newspaper? Like the thrify nickel thing that would a good idea too. and yes don't listen to the people on there, stand your ground and like RIS said, someone is out there who will cherish it, i guarantee you they will

You know ladies, some people make reasonable offers because they truly want your items but can’t afford the amount you’re asking but the offer does not mean your item is not worth what you’re asking it just means they can’t afford that amount. But these people are rare to find and then there are some that will pay whatever you ask as long as it’s cheaper than the store and those are the best customers...lol… Now what you have been offered on the car is an insult. A reasonable offer would have been $350. I've noticed a lot of people on here make jack@$$ offers like someone else said because sometimes they get away with it so they want to see what they can get from you for dirt cheap. Other people do it to get you annoyed and never really have any intentions to buy stuff. You have to go with your gut if you think an offer someone made is reasonable then take it or not then just say no or nothing at all. I personally think y our items are priced well. I tend to overprice my items because of the people who cut your piece directly in half when making an offer. Everyone wants everything free. People are cheap and think since it’s used they shouldn’t have to pay for it. I beg to differ. Do as everyone else hers says to do hold onto it a few more days a good offer may come around.
