Anyone not doing anything special for valentines day. I would like to have a night out with the hubby for once and figured I would asked if anyone was planning on just staying home and wanted to make some extra cash. Anyone have any suggestions on where to go..lol.. we are thinking of going to the melting pot in OKC but not sure if we want to make the drive. Were also thinking about Kobys here in Lawton.

TexasChild --- 15 years ago -

I might be able to do it. I'm prolly not doing anything, I'm sure my husband will have to work(like always). How many kids do you have & what are thier ages? I have 2 girls, a 3yr old & an 8mo old.

Iamcleaningouthouse --- 15 years ago -

Oh that will suck if he has to work. Well if you can let me know for sure on Saturday because I haven't really confirmed any times or anything for sunday. My daughter is 3 years old but acts like shes 12 and my son is 14 months old. Hes not walking on his own yet but he crawls fast as he!! and he runs in the walker practically. My daughter is a handful Im Not gonna lie she can be bossy but a good stern voice should do the job. Its been over 1 year and a half since Ive left her with anyone else. She also knows how to open doors. she like to explore the outside so we had to out a key pad on the door so she cant open it. Our kids are kind of the same age. If you can watch them do you think you would be able to handle them in addition to your own.

I would go to kobe its awsome!

Iamcleaningouthouse --- 15 years ago -

I know Ive heard so much about it. All the reviews have been positive about Kobe's. I was told not to bring the kiddos though if we do decide to go thats why were searching for a baby sitter.

Katie --- 15 years ago -

hey i can watch the kids, btw we take both our kids to kobe all the time and they love it well not all the time both times we went :)

Iamcleaningouthouse --- 15 years ago -

really I wonder why they told us not to take the kids. We always take our kids everywhere we go. If kids are not allowed somewhere we just dont plan to go there you know. Hmmm I might talk to my hubby see if we just take the kids. I will let you guys know. If you can message me privately and tell me how much you would like to make if you did watch my kids. thanks

Kobe is really nice, hubby loves it. Most retaurants in town seem to be kids friendly, especially IHOP. I've never been to arestaurant where kids weren't allowed. The one at the mall is not bad either, has a nice environment for converstion if you are not taking the kids with you. If you still need someone to watch your kids on sunday, I'll be available for sure, hubby and I are going out tonigh and, I have tons of homework to do on the weekend. I have a 3 year old boy and my house id fully kid-proofed; my son is a hand full as weel. Just let me know.

I WOULD NOT Go to ihop on cashe.... nor would I go to the mc d's If you knew the employees you would understand why...

MaryJane --- 15 years ago -

Oh they are not so bad. I know a couple of the waitresses and a few of the cooks, the mamager too. I always get a table easily when I go ;) Why do you think they are so bad?

The other profile --- 15 years ago -

At IHop I know some of the employee's and they drink right before going to work... and just look and smell unclean I know a woman there she is NASTY I would not want her NEAR my food Mc d's a lot of the employees are GROSS and Very rude! They had the cops called to the store three times in a week... which is just retarded and some of the stuff that goes on there would turn your stomach

hello everyone, thank you so much for the offers Im overwhelmed with how you guys are offering to help. Thank you UPDATE: our son had a fever and a rash from an unknown source he went to the doctors today (ER) they prescribed some stuff but hes still very sick right now and cranky and crying up a storm. If he is not feeling better by sunday morning we have decided to stay at home. But if he is we will be going out sunday for about 6 or 7 hours. Going to OKC the melting pots which the meal takes about 3 hours to serve and eat because its a fondue place and it has 4 courses. so email me with how much you guys would charge me for that time frame. thebrooksfamily_04@yahoo.com thanks again everyone

i'm not sure if your talking about the mc'ds on cache, but i know i remember being there like a month or so ago and one of the managers duked it out with what appeared to be another mgr. one was behind the counter actually working and the other one was there like eating with her family, she had an older lady (maybe her mother?) and a little girl with her. anyways she was like giving orders to the one behind the counter that there was stuff that needed to be filled over by where the condiments are and that there was a spot that needed mopping. between all of this they were like getting slammed with customers. i guess "behind the counter working" got tired of "mgr visiting" she walks out and smacks her! next thing you know they take it outside and then all the employees are running out trying to separate them!! this is all going on infront of a mc'd's full of customers and the most important part: children!!! how violent. anyways, yes the cops were called. just wanted to share that with you guys,i dont live in lawton, but i do go to that mc'd's sometimes when in town and remembered this occassion when someone mentioned the cop thing...

MaryJane --- 15 years ago -

Wow! That's wild! I've only been to the DT but not inside! Avoid the KFC on Cache unless you like your food smeling of smoke. They are truly nasty in there, the area by the buffet always smell like $hit, the employees smoke in the store, and it just looks dirty!
