why would someone send you a message on sys from a fake email just to tell you that your stuff is crap and you shouldnt sell that crap for such a high price. i sold a dresser for 60 but i put it was negotiable. I don't know how much its worth so i throw a price out there and people can offer me what they want. And my stuff is not crap!!!!! ugh... that erks me! She/He couldn't even give me the satisfaction of emailing her back because it was fake!!!!!!! Maybe if i was selling a rotting peice of wood for 100 dollars you could b**ch me out but come on person...

Iamcleaningouthouse --- 15 years ago -

Are you tyalking about the white dresser... I wanted that..lol.. I have extra knobs at home. but by the time I saw it, it was sold. I get those kind of emails all the time. Its just people who are mad because they think your stuff is overpriced and dont have the balls to tell you to your face. They are cowards who not only hide behind there computer but they hide behind a fake email address. I thought it was a abit overpriced but not too bad but you put negotiable whih means you left it open to us to decide what we want to pay for it. I thought that was cool. I just hate making offers :-)...Im gald you sold it. I got one for my furniture that i was selling this weeks saying no one will buy my stuff blah blah blah.. personally its just people who have no life and nothing better to do than to pretend they are the price police on bookoo. It wouldnt have even been worth it to write them back trust me. I tend to overprice my stuff but sometimes i do that especially with furniture is because I know people will make rediculous offers and its rare you get what you ask for so sometimes to get what you want you have to ask rediculous prices so I dont think there was anything wrong with your dresser.. it was indeed very nice. Also it could be a real email. maybe the person was so upset that when they messaged you they forgot to add a number or letter to there email because you know with bookoo if your not a member which many people are not you have type in your own address so they could have just messed it up.

no whats crap is someone selling a half used bottle of body spray/cologne for 10 dollars...wtf? NEXT!

heather --- 15 years ago -

ya i hate when several people ask for one item, i dont like telling people no. i usually try and go with the first person who messaged me so im sorry brooks :) i have noticed people hate to make offers but i usually take them. like i siad, i dont know how much its worth i just throw a price out there and leave it all up to interpretation. but thanks for agreeing with me.. i was so mad...

heather --- 15 years ago -

and victoria, i understand your point of veiw but if you dont like there price then make them an offer or just dont buy it. dont attack them. maybe they need money, or maybe they truly believe its worth that much... not trying to be rude, just saying :)

Victoria1 --- 15 years ago -

i understand whole heartedly about needing money as a seller and a buyer and my intention wasn't to attack anyone about pricing or anything else. in my opinion, ppl come on here to find bargains and deals and some may or may not agree on the pricing but i don't buy if i don't like the price plain and simple. im not and never have harrassed anyone about the price they advertise an item for. its pointless and Heather, i didn't take ur response as being rude lol

heather --- 15 years ago -

lol i just get scared to post anything on here. i have seen people get beat up on here and i just dont want to be next, not saying you are one of the people cause i dont know. this site just scares the crap out of me. lol

Victoria1 --- 15 years ago -

lol i know....ive seen ppl verbally crucify one another and i think alot of it gets wayyy out of hand and out of context. i generally stay quiet except for every now and then or unless something is directed towards me personally and ive also seen alot of decent ppl on here get snapped at or stomped on for what i see as no reason. i guess anyone can be a bad a$$ behind a monitor ya know?

heather --- 15 years ago -

lmao totally

Victoria1 --- 15 years ago -

this is totally off subject...spring/summer is coming and ive seen so many cute girl dresses and im like dang...too small for my daughter lol. i guess i should get motivated to clean out her clothes/shoes. i cleaned her room last weekend and was thinking...where did u get all this junk?!?!? lol

heather --- 15 years ago -

what size is she

Victoria1 --- 15 years ago -

she's 4 yrs so she wears 5T right now and her shoes are size 9-10

heather --- 15 years ago -

oh i dont think i have any that big. im lookin for that same size but in boys.. my son is two but he is huge!

Victoria1 --- 15 years ago -

lol i have just my one daughter so ive got nothing but girl stuff...but i will say this...thank god for the adjustable waistbands lol my daughter wears bigger pants/jeans for the length but its too big around her waist...she's tall and leggy lol

heather --- 15 years ago -

i hear u there. they grow like crazy. i have had people walk up to me and ask me why my son isnt talking better. im like "he is two and a half!" but people always think he is about 4

Victoria1 --- 15 years ago -

my daughter wasnt potty trained until 3 and i got tired of ppl telling me...that was kinda late or she should have been potty trained already...im like dude...when she's ready, she'll be ready...and thats what happened...one day she told me she wanted to wear her big girl underwear and that was it lol...except for a night time accident every now and then..i dont believe in there being a timeline in when a child should be "ready" for certain milestones. every child is different. i would get so mad when ppl would talk like they were experts or something lol

heather --- 15 years ago -

my son is weird about potty training.. he will go sometimes during the day but mainly he goes and hides and does it in his pants... now he is getting up in the night taking his diaper off and doing his buisness in the floor. ugh its gross!!!

Victoria1 --- 15 years ago -

lol well at least he knows the concept of not going in his pants but just cant get to the toilet yet lol. my daughter did that so i gave her a toliet seat cover and little stool and kept the bathroom light on. it helped her at night sometimes or she would come into my room saying she had an accident...hang in there, he'll get it down...enjoy the rest of ur day, its time for me to get off work and go get my daughter...nice talking to u! :)

mommyof2 --- 15 years ago -

where do yall find the adjustable pants? i can't eever find any for my son! he's a 3t in length, but more like a 2 inches in the waist...so he either looks like he's wearing high waters or trying to be a mini thug...lol. he had to get a catheter last week to test for diabetes b/c my husband made him scared to pee in the toilet...the next morning he refused to put a pullup on and has gone in the toilet ever since...not the best method of potty training, but hey, it worked...and now i don't have to buy pullups AND diapers anymore...my daughter is only 3 weeks, so we go through like 100 diapers a week it seems! too bad i can't potty train her, too...haha!

Amber --- 15 years ago -

Try Ross. My friend finds adjustable waistband pants all the time for her son. I know its a hassle but just about every time she goes she has to buy new clothes cause he keeps growing. So I would DEF try there!

Iamcleaningouthouse --- 15 years ago -

You know my daughter used to hide in a corner and pee on herself. It was like having a puppy at home that I was trying to potty train because I had pee spots all over the carpet. I finally got her to using the bathroom on her own because I used to tell her certain t oys at walmart that she wanted were for big girls only sd since she was still wearing pampers and peeing on her self that she wasnot a big girl so she couldnt havet hose toys. Eventually she caught on and started saying she was a big girl and she started using the toilet on her won. She went right to the big toilet. And after that she always said she was abig girl and wanted to wear panties and she wouldnt even think of wearing papmers she would cry if I even considered it. I get my adjustable waist jeans at oldnavy, the gap and the childrens place. I think there prices are reasonable and there jeans last a long time. Ive never lookd at ross before but I will now..lol..

Amber --- 15 years ago -

I Love ross. They have like name brand clothing for a fraction of the price. The only thing I hate is having to like go through everything. But its good ecspecially for kids since they always grow out of their clothes!

MaryJane --- 15 years ago -

Is Ross like TJ Maxx or Marshalls? I've never been there.

Lindsey --- 15 years ago -

its a very cool store prices are great and you can get name brands there for way less than any place else

mommyof2 --- 15 years ago -

i keep forgetting we have ross here...i used to go all the time when we were at ft lewis...lol. thanks for the suggestion. they should make adjustable pants for adults...i swear, when i'm bloating it's like i need at least a size larger. lol...i've been wearing my maternity pants for 3 weeks now and really want to get back in regular jeans but the bloating...ugh, whatever...lol!

Iamcleaningouthouse --- 15 years ago -

yes actually ross is owned by the same people as marshalls and J max.

MaryJane --- 15 years ago -

Oh cool! I will go check for some shoes! Spring is coming around and mama needs new shoes! :D Ahhh...thinking about new shoes make me happy :D :D :D

Iamcleaningouthouse --- 15 years ago -

lol I love shoes too. I but some of my summer shoes there but I dont ever go through there clothes racks because it all just seems a bit discouraging and time consuming and when I go shopping i always have the kids and goingthrough all those clothes with 2 kids is impossible. atleast for me it is..lol.. Im going this weekend though hubby staying at home with the kids while I go because I do desperately need some new summer clothes and Im giving up the department store prices this summer and Im going with the bargains. have fun checking out shoes.. thatsthe best oart of shopping for me

Victoria1 --- 15 years ago -

i got all my daughters jeans with the adjustable waistbands at the PX...she's grown out alot of them so hopefully we can find more in bigger sizes...did someone mention shoes? *drools* lol

MaryJane --- 15 years ago -
