like by 3:30 thursday afternoon. here's the deal, i got in touch with samantha b/c i didn't know who else to go to. i told her what kind of cake i wanted and all that, well now i've tried reaching her like 10 times, and she hasn't gotten back in touch. so here's what i need: a cake, white or chocolate, doesn't really matter, that will feed 20-25 people. i want a frosting that isn't overwhelmingly sweet. we had a frosting a few years back that was mostly whipped cream, really good! i want my husband's new unit patch in the center of the cake, i have one of the patches and can text a picture of it to you. about the patch i want it to say "Congratulations Sgt ...." and below the patch i want it to say "on the road to Ft Carson" the patch needs to be the grayish green of acu's and black. i want the edging to be black as well. very formal, but with that formality, i want it to be delicious. it doesn't have to be perfect, so if you bake cakes for a hobby, that's fine too. but i need this cake by 3:30 this thursday afternoon. his reenlistment party will be at 5pm and i need the cake here first so i can hide it. please let me know if you can do this for me! i can pay you, btw, as i was planning to pay samantha! 

Is Samantha the Divine Cakes lady? I emailed her a couple weeks ago because I wanted to order a cake for my baby's 1st birthday. I STILL haven't recieved anything back so I'll find a cake elsewhere. I'm DONE waiting & I'm a new 'customer' you get 1 chance to impress & she SO didn't! 

Yup, same chick. and yes, I'm a first time "customer" too...I was really disappointed that I didn't get a reply. If I was better at baking and decorating, I would do it myself...I may end up having to do it myself, but I'd prefer not to! Very disappointing! 

I had samantha do a twilight themed cake and it was amazing. I paid her in advance which im leary of doing and i also had problems of getting in touch with her. but she did a FANTASTIC job! I got in touch with alicia form glamour cakes a month in advance and she was like yeah i will do it and then when i sent her the pic of what i wanted she stopped all contact. THis was AFTER she was suppose to do my husbands birthday cake and then canceled the day before. 

I contacted Samantha about doing my daughter’s birthday cake, which her party is this weekend. As soon as I emailed her she posted something on bookoo saying she was booked till the end of the month and then I told her I needed mine for April 3 and she said OK I can do it what do you want. I told her what I wanted and never heard back from her. I’m sorry but the least she could’ve did was emailed me and told me she couldn’t do it. I have referenced her to many of my friends so they can get their cakes from her but never again. I am honestly mad I shouldn’t have to harass you or stalk you to do my cake. You have a business and I’m a customer if you can’t handle the work load then don’t say you can do it. I will gladly walk my a$$ to Wal-Mart tomorrow and order my daughter cake... at east I know her cake will be done and waiting for me. This is actually the 2nd time she did this to me. She flaked out on me last November when I wanted a cake for my son. I am done with giving her my time and money. I really hope another cake lady gets on here so we can have a dependable person to give our orders to. I know life gets hectic and she may be busy but would one quick email hurt to say she can’t do it... I mean really that’s the least you can do. I was really looking forward to her doing my daughters cake. Well I heard the commissary does good cakes as well I may actually go there tomorrow instead of Wal-Mart.

brooke, i'm about to email you. i'm the one who started the thread, and i need the cake by thursday at 3:30...if you can do it, i'd really really appreciate it!!! i feel like i've been screwed over...it's 2 days before the party and i'm having to rush around and find someone else to bake a cake...i had heard a lot of bad things about samantha, and even said i wouldn't give her my business because of it. i was willing to give her a chance, but not anymore!!! 

I do believe I will email you too! My daughters birthday isn't until the end of May so hopefully you will be able to make mine aswell. I would say "I'm done" w/ Samantha but thanks to her, I never started!

Yay, I'm glad you got your cake on time & everything worked out for you!! I on the other hand have heard NOTHING from 'the cake ladies'. So I went on the net & did some searching & am attempting to make my own Topsy Turvy cake. oh my gosh!!! i just texted her to see how she's doing...that's horrible. i have to say, that was the BEST cake i have EVER had!!! my husband's birthday is next month, so is mine, so i will definitely be asking her to make us another cake!!! she did a chocolate/white chocolate marble cake with buttercream icing and OMG!!! lol...we took the leftover cake to my parents house for the weekend and my parents LOVED it!!! lol...it was my lil brother's bday on friday and my dad had made a red velvet cake for his bday, but none of us ate it, we kept eating my husband's cake!! hehe... i couldn't figure out how to upload a picture of it, tho...but it was awesome. thank you sooo much brooke!!! please let me know how you are doing! i'm praying for you!!! and no comment on texaschild...the child part of it explains a LOT

Brooke- I am so glad to hear that your family member is ok and in recovery form the surgery. My daughtrs B-day was still a blast. My daughter loved the cake we ended up getting as she only really eats the cream any way..lol.. I have a birthday in May and I look forward to working with you in making that special cake for me. I dont have face book and really dont ever plan on getting it but I would still love to look at your album of cakes. is there any way I can do that without having to open a face book account. Im not sure what I want but I know I want you to make it for me..lol.. I hate that other cake makers dont even message you to apologize when they were unable to fulfill your order.
